Mirko Bortolotti finishes second in the final race at the Hockenheimring and secures the DTM title.
The 34-year-old Italian had been battling with Kelvin van der Linde for a long time during the season. On Sunday, however, the 28-year-old Audi driver, who had won on Saturday, was unable to threaten the triumph of his rival in the Lamborghini. The South African was only twelfth.
Ricardo Feller from Aargau, who had secured third place on the grid in qualifying, finished sixth at the end of the season.
