Ambri-Piotta signs a seventh foreign player. Canadian defenseman Kodie Curran has been signed by the Leventines until November.

The 34-year-old Curran played for Dinamo Minsk in the KHL last season. Prior to that, he also played in Russia and Sweden and was champion in Denmark and Norway. Curran played 92 games in the AHL and never played in the NHL.

Ambri-Piotta has the option to extend Curran's contract after the national team break at the beginning of November until the end of the season.
