After Flurina Rigling, Celine van Till also secures a medal in the women's road race at the Paralympics. In the T1-T2 category, the 33-year-old from western Switzerland also finished in second place.
After 28 km and shortly before the finish, Van Till launched the final sprint, in which she was only beaten by Denmark's Emma Lund. After being beaten in the battle for gold, the Swiss rider just let herself coast to the finish line and was almost overtaken by Marieke van Soest from the Netherlands.
This is Van Till's second medal at the Paralympics in Paris. The world and European champion had already won silver in the time trial.
