Two-time MotoGP title defender Francesco Bagnaia is also unbeatable at the Dutch Grand Prix.
The Italian Bagnaia won the sprint in Assen from pole position with a good two-second lead over the Spanish world championship leader Jorge Martin. Spanish Aprilia rider Maverick Viñales finished third behind the Ducati duo.
Bagnaia, who recently won both the sprint and the main race at his home GP in Mugello, reduced the gap to Martin by three points to 15 in the intermediate standings. In third place overall, 44 points behind Martin, is Spaniard Marc Marquez, who crashed in Assen on lap 2 through his own fault.
Bagnaia will also start Sunday's Grand Prix, which will run over 26 laps and therefore twice as long as the sprint, from pole position. The start is at 14:00.
