Dominic Stricker will be playing at the Challenger tournament in Zug in two weeks' time.
This was announced by the organizers of the ATP 125 event, in which Dutchman Botic van de Zandschulp (world number 97) is the top seed.
With little match practice since his comeback in June and after dropping out in the first round at Wimbledon, Stricker is using the Zug Open to determine where he stands. "The most important thing for me at the moment is to find my level, get into the match rhythm and simply enjoy the fact that I'm back on the tour," Stricker is quoted as saying in a press release. Back pain had forced the player from Bern to take a break in the first half of the year.
