Leonardo Genoni will not be available for EV Zug for several weeks.
An injury to his lower extremities suffered in training last week has forced the 37-year-old goaltender to take a break, according to a statement from the club.
EV Zug will start the National League season next Tuesday with a home game against HC Lugano.
