The two players from central Switzerland won their opening match in Paris against Daniela Alvarez/Tania Moreno 21:12, 21:19. The two-time European champions and Olympic ninth-placed team from Tokyo secured the opening victory in the rematch of the 2023 European Championship final in Vienna, which will give them further momentum for the upcoming Games.
Esmée Böbner/Zoé Vergé-Dépré, the second Swiss duo, will also be in action later this afternoon against Latvia's Tina Graudina/Anastasija Samoilova.
