Kyshawn George is well on his way to earning his place in the NBA. The 20-year-old Swiss shines in the Washington Wizards' second preseason game.
George scored 14 points and grabbed 4 rebounds in the 94-117 loss to the New York Knicks at Madison Square Garden. The Walliser got 21 minutes of playing time, as he did in the first game of the preparation, when he recorded eight points against Toronto. George's performance in New York was praised by former Knicks star Walt Frazier: "This kid was really, really impressive."
In the last draft, Kyshawn George was selected 24th overall by the Knicks and later traded to Washington. The Wizards open their season on October 24 with a game against reigning champions Boston.
