The Swiss men's 4x100 m relay team clearly missed the target time of 38.30 seconds at the meeting in Geneva.
The quartet of Bradley Lestrade, Timothé Mumenthaler, Felix Svensson and William Reais had to settle for 38.96.
In the rainy weather, it was not possible to break into the top 16 of the Olympic rankings, and the Swiss record (38.36) was not broken either.
The qualification phase for the Olympic Games ends on June 30. With a time of 38.53 seconds from 2023, Switzerland is in 18th place and probably has little chance of taking the 16th and final ticket for the season's highlight from the Netherlands (38.30).
