The 60-year-old from Graubünden, CEO and Chairman of the Board of Directors of Electrolux and Vice-Chairman of the Board of Directors of Arbonia AG, has been a member of the Swiss-Ski Executive Committee for twelve years, most recently as Vice-Chairman.

In the run-up to the meeting, the association led by the current sole President Lehmann, who is entering his fifth term of office, had campaigned for a dual leadership. The association will face particular challenges in the near future, especially in view of the upcoming major events in the country. Next winter, the Biathlon World Championships (in Lenzerheide) and the Freestyle World Championships (in Engadin) will take place in the canton of Graubünden, followed in just under three years' time by the Alpine World Ski Championships in Crans-Montana.

The Swiss-Ski Executive Committee is now composed as follows for the 2024 to 2028 term of office Urs Lehmann (Co-President, responsible for Sport), Peter Barandun (Co-President, responsible for Commercial), Claude-Alain Schmidhalter (Vice-President), Tamara Wolf (Vice-President), Raphaëlle Favre Schnyder (newly elected representative Interregion West, replacing Florence Koehn), Stefan Binggeli (representative Interregion Central) and Marco Gut (representative Interregion East).

With 121 World Cup podium places in nine different sports and the successful defense of first place in the World Cup nations ranking in alpine skiing, Swiss-Ski can look back on one of its most successful years. A surplus of CHF 131,225 was recorded for the 2023/24 financial year.
