Austrian Mona Mitterwallner is world champion in the mountain bike marathon for the third time. In Snowshoe in the US state of West Virginia, Switzerland's Sina Frei won the silver medal after 104 kilometers and 1899 vertical meters. She lost 26 seconds to Mitterwallner.
