Even before the start of the winter, bad luck has struck again for the Swiss ski crossers: Sixtine Cousin will miss the entire season.
During training in Saas-Fee on Saturday, the 24-year-old from Geneva crashed and suffered several injuries to her left knee. Examinations revealed tears to the cruciate ligament, the medial collateral ligament and both menisci. Cousin will therefore have to undergo an operation.
Thanks in part to her first World Cup victory in San Candido, the skier from western Switzerland was promoted to the national squad after last season.
