Edoardo Mortara in fourth and Nico Müller in fifth narrowly missed out on podium places at the Formula E race in Portland, Oregon.
Sébastien Buemi, on the other hand, finished in 20th place, almost a minute behind.
Meanwhile, Portuguese driver Antonio Felix da Costa took his third victory in the past four races in a Porsche. After 13 of 16 events, he is seventh in the championship standings with 109 points - a win earns 25 points. New Zealander Nick Cassidy in the Jaguar remains in the lead (167 points), although he came away empty-handed on Sunday night.
The best Swiss driver in the overall standings is now Müller (28 points) in 14th place, overtaking Buemi (Envision Racing, 16th/24 points) in the Abt Cupra, who owes three quarters of his points to his 2nd place in the first race of the season. Mortara (Mahindra Racing) is 17th (19 points).
