This year he is celebrating his third appearance at the Openair Frauenfeld. blue News met him after his performance. After his show, he raves about the big moment. "Two years ago, I wasn't on the main stage", says the man from eastern Switzerland.

Back then, it wasn't quite as crowded as at his current concert. Monet192, whose real name is Karim Russo, adds: "You can see the progress. Things are moving and more and more people are coming." He really appreciates that.

Monet192: "I can develop my creativity well in Asia"

The hip-hop musician from eastern Switzerland has recently been spending a lot of time in Asia, Thailand to be precise. "I can develop my creative freedom very well there."

Monet192 is no longer in Switzerland that often. What does he miss about Switzerland when he's abroad? "Of course I always miss my family, the infrastructure and all the people I have around me," the rapper explains.
