No time? blue News summarizes for you

  • Openair Frauenfeld will take place from July 6 to 8, 2023.
  • This year's line-up includes Travis Scott, Kendrick Lamar, Joey Bada$$ and German artists Juju and K.I.Z.
  • And the good news for all those music fans who can't make the pilgrimage to Frauenfeld this time: blue Music will be broadcasting the best live concerts.

Even as a child, Juju was introduced to German rap greats such as Bushido and Aggro Berlin and Sido. She started rapping at the tender age of 14. The German musician is now 30 years old and recorded her first number 1 in 2018 together with Capital Bra: "Melodien" reached the top of the charts in Germany, Austria and Switzerland.

Juju will release the stage for Bonez MC & RAF Camora after her performance at 8.40 pm. The latter is an Austrian rapper, but he was born in Vevey, Switzerland. He found his other half in Bonez MC in 2016, when they achieved platinum status with the collab album "Palmen aus Plastik" and have been tearing up the stage together ever since - including today in Frauenfeld at 9.30 pm.

Shortly before midnight, the last heavyweight will close OAF 2023: British grime star Stormzy combines aggression and, more recently, soul in his music. He shines with his technical ability to rap over beats that have a high cadence - but he has also been able to prove himself vocally in recent years.

Ed Sheeran is one of Stormzy's best friends, and Stormzy has also attracted national and international attention thanks to his performance with him at the 2017 Brit Awards. His album "Gang Signs & Prayer" shot to number 1 in England and won several awards. Since then, things have been going uphill for the rapper - and he will show this once again at Frauenfeld at 23:55 as the last headliner.

Stormzy will also be 30 years old on July 26. An age that he addresses in some of his songs - and assures us again and again: At least we stay young at heart.
