Following her autopsy, the medical office in Oklahoma City has now announced that Jane died of an overdose of the drugs fentanyl and cocaine. This was reported by the US magazine "TMZ", among others.

The porn star's partner, Brett Hasenmueller, was also found dead in the apartment in Moore in the US state of Oklahoma. The police came across the two bodies because Hasenmueller's boss was worried about his employee due to radio silence.

When the two bodies were found, the authorities were not yet able to give a clear cause of death, but an overdose had not been ruled out.

Jesse Jane grew up in Texas and won numerous modeling competitions as a teenager. She also appeared as an extra in the movie "Baywatch - Wedding in Hawaii" (2003).

After her appearance in the movie, she later graced the covers of various erotic magazines such as "Hustler", "Front", "Club" and "AVN". She also worked as a sex editor for the magazine "Rock Confidential".

Jesse Jane was also inducted into the Porn Industry Hall of Fame in 2012.
