The LDP will continue to be critical of certain SVP positions despite the alliance of convenience for the cantonal elections, the party wrote in a press release on Wednesday evening. It is therefore an electoral tactical alliance.

In addition to its own candidates Stephanie Eymann and Conradin Cramer, the five-party ticket for the October elections includes Lukas Engelberger from the center, FDP candidate Eva Biland and Stefan Suter from the SVP.
