Russian counterattacks, in turn, pushed back the Ukrainian troops in the area around the village of Snagost. A map published by Deep State shows a deep breach in the Ukrainian defense lines. The information could not be independently verified.
At the beginning of August, Ukrainian troops entered the Russian border area near Kursk and, according to their own statements, took control of around 1,300 square kilometers and around 100 villages, including the small town of Sudzha. Observers assume that fewer territorial gains have been made. This week, the Russian military made its first serious attempt to drive out the Ukrainian troops.
