Russia Series of Russian attacks in eastern Ukraine
Far from the Ukrainian offensive in the Russian region of Kursk, Russian troops are increasing their pressure around the Donbass in eastern Ukraine.

The attacks on Ukrainian positions near Pokrovsk, around 60 kilometers northwest of Donetsk, were particularly intense, as the General Staff in Kiev announced in its situation report. A total of 54 advances by Russian units were recorded. The ground troops were also supported by air strikes.
Russian attackers and Ukrainian defenders also fought battles near Torezk, 75 kilometers north of Donetsk. Russian airstrikes also took place here. Fighting continued in the area around the city of Kharkiv. There were 13 battles at various locations. The information could not be independently verified.
