According to the Palestinian Ministry of Health in Ramallah, at least 18 people were killed on Thursday evening when an Israeli fighter jet attacked a residential building with a café on the first floor, including a couple and their children.

The Israeli army confirmed the attack. According to them, it was aimed at the Hamas leader in Tulkarem, Sahi Jasser Abd al-Rasegh Ufi. He had been involved in numerous attacks on Israelis. Other members of the terrorist network were also killed in Tulkarem.

According to Palestinian figures, more than 700 Palestinians have been killed in the West Bank, which has been occupied by Israel since 1967, since the start of the Gaza war almost a year ago. They have died in battles with the army, in attempted attacks on Israelis and at the hands of radical Israeli settlers.
