Russia Selensky wants clarity from Trump
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky wants clarity from Donald Trump on how he intends to end the war in 24 hours. "If Trump knows how to end this war, he should tell us today," said Selenskyj in an interview with Bloomberg TV. "Should there be risks to Ukraine's independence, should we lose our statehood - we want to be prepared for that, we want to know that."

The former US president and candidate for the upcoming presidential election has repeatedly claimed that he could end the war in Ukraine within 24 hours. However, Trump has never revealed the details of this claim.
In the interview, Selensky declared his willingness to meet with Trump and his team and listen to their proposals. "We want to understand whether we will have the powerful support of the US in November (after the US elections) or whether we will be alone."
In this context, Zelensky reiterated his opposition to a ceasefire, as proposed the day before by Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Urban. Whoever made such a proposal had not been able to formulate how it could work. "Nobody has a solution," said Selenskyj.
