Violence Man is injured in a fight on Bern's Schützenmatte
A man was injured with a sharp object on the Schützenmatte in Bern on Sunday night. According to initial findings by the police, the man sustained the injury during an assault.

According to the regional public prosecutor's office and the Bern cantonal police on Sunday, the police received a report at around 4.30 a.m. that a person had been injured in the square. When the emergency services arrived, they found the man with a cut to his thigh. Third parties attended to him.
The police took the man to hospital. In the course of a follow-up search, police officers stopped three young men matching the description a short time later on Schützenmatte and took them to a police station for further investigation. They were provisionally arrested. The police have issued an appeal for witnesses.
