Eastern Switzerland Man seriously injured in work accident in Trin

A 50-year-old worker was seriously injured when he fell from a scaffold on Monday afternoon in Trin Mulin GR. He had to be airlifted to hospital in Chur. The cause is still being investigated.

The man was working with other colleagues to erect scaffolding at a vacation home development in the Senda Luista area. Shortly after 12 noon, he fell six meters through a plastic tarpaulin on the roof, the cantonal police of Graubünden reported on Tuesday.

He was seriously injured as a result of the impact with a stone floor. Work colleagues provided first aid. The circumstances of the accident are being clarified by the cantonal police.
