A 35-year-old female motorcyclist succumbed to her injuries on Wednesday evening following a traffic accident in mid-June. She sustained serious injuries in the accident, as reported by the Schwyz cantonal police on Thursday.

The woman had left the road in a bend on the Steinerstrasse from Goldau towards Steinen. She collided with a stone and then fell into the adjacent bank. She was taken by helicopter to a hospital outside the canton.
