Cancellations had initially only been planned until this Tuesday. In addition to Swiss, Lufthansa and Eurowings are also affected.

After at least twelve people were killed in a rocket attack in the Druze village of Madschdal Shams on the Golan Heights annexed by Israel on Saturday, the Israeli government is preparing for a retaliatory strike. It holds Hezbollah responsible for the attack. The Shia militia declared that it had nothing to do with the attack.
