Traffic accident 15-year-old trapped and injured in car in Goldach SG

In an accident in Goldach SG on Monday evening, an 18-year-old driver was slightly injured and his 15-year-old passenger was seriously injured. The car left the road and crashed into two tree trunks. The trapped passenger had to be freed from the car by the fire department.

The 18-year-old's car left Goldacherstrasse on a right-hand bend and then drove a few meters down a slope, as the St. Gallen cantonal police wrote in a statement on Tuesday. Both occupants were taken to hospital by the ambulance service. The car was totaled.
