Speeding 18-year-old speeds through Rorschach at 109 km/h without a driver's license

An 18-year-old Italian was caught speeding at 109 km/h in his mother's car during a speed check in Rorschach. He does not have a driver's license.

Instead of the permitted 50 km/h in urban areas, the 18-year-old had 109 km/h on his speedometer. The public prosecutor's office began an investigation after the journey at 2.45 a.m. on May 21. They led them to an Italian resident in the canton of St. Gallen.

According to the information available so far, he stole his mother's car during the night and drove it without a driver's license. The 18-year-old will be reported to the public prosecutor's office.
