Lucerne police have pulled a speeding driver out of traffic in Hochdorf. The 20-year-old was speeding through a 30 km/h zone at over 70 km/h.

The man was driving considerably too fast on Alpenstrasse at around 6 p.m. on Saturday. The police stopped him, arrested him and revoked his driver's license, as the Lucerne public prosecutor's office announced on Monday. The speeding driver is no longer allowed to drive a motor vehicle until a decision is made by the road traffic authorities.
