Traffic accident 70-year-old sports car driver hits cyclist in Baar ZG

A 70-year-old sports car driver hit a 68-year-old cyclist in Baar ZG on Tuesday evening. The latter sustained serious injuries and had to be taken to hospital.

The car driver crossed into the oncoming lane on Allenwindenstrasse and hit the oncoming cyclist head-on, as the Zug law enforcement authorities reported on Wednesday. The exact cause of the accident is currently being investigated.

Shortly after midnight, another accident occurred on Sihlbruggstrasse. A 35-year-old driver disregarded the red light and collided with a 62-year-old driver. Both drivers sustained minor injuries in the collision.
