The Solothurn cantonal police arrested the suspected perpetrator on Wednesday following a bomb threat. The anonymous threat was aimed at the Heso autumn fair. The police searched the briefly cordoned-off area with dogs, but found nothing suspicious, as they reported.

The anonymous bomb threat was received by the cantonal police on Wednesday morning. During their investigations, they came across the alleged author of the threat, according to a press release. He is a 72-year-old Swiss national who has been arrested for further investigation. The public prosecutor's office has opened proceedings.
