No one was injured in an attic fire on Saturday afternoon in Urnäsch, Appenzell Ausserrhoden. However, property damage amounting to several hundred thousand francs was caused, according to the cantonal police. The cause of the fire is still being investigated. More than 70 people from the fire department and rescue services were deployed.
