Premiums 2025 Canton of Aargau: Average health insurance premium increases by 7.1 percent
In the canton of Aargau, the average health insurance premium across all age groups will increase more than the Swiss average in 2025 compared to the current year. The premium in Aargau will increase by 7.1 percent to CHF 353. However, the level of the premium is below the Swiss average.

For adults aged 26 and over in Aargau, the monthly premium for compulsory health insurance including optional deductibles and models will rise by an average of 7.3% or CHF 28.80 to CHF 421.40 per month. The additional costs per year amount to CHF 345.60.
This is according to documents published by the Federal Office of Public Health (FOPH) on Thursday. The average monthly premium for adults in the canton of Aargau is almost 28 francs below the Swiss average.
For young adults aged 19 to 25, the premium is also rising more sharply than the Swiss average - by 6.6 percent or CHF 18.10 to CHF 290. For children up to the age of 18, the premium will rise by 7 percent or CHF 7.30 to CHF 110.40.
The average health insurance premium in the canton of Aargau had already risen by 8.8 percent in the current year.
