Traffic accident Female driver seriously injured in accident in Schwarzenbach

A female driver was seriously injured in a collision with a tree in Schwarzenbach on Thursday evening. According to the police, she had to be taken to hospital by Rega.

The accident occurred on Huttwilstrasse, at the Rotmatt junction, as the cantonal police reported in a statement on Friday. According to initial findings, the driver left the road on a left-hand bend and crashed straight into a tree for as yet unexplained reasons.

The Bern cantonal police have launched an investigation into the exact circumstances of the accident.
