A car that landed on a flight of stairs in St. Gallen kept the police on their toes on Saturday night. The suspected driver of the car was stopped at the scene of the accident. He was unfit to drive, according to the St. Gallen city police.

The police found the car at 2.30 a.m. on Melonenstrasse. The front end of the vehicle was over the stairs and could no longer be reversed, they said. No one was injured.
