Traffic accident Car rams turning tractor: two injured in Cazis GR
In a collision involving a car and a tractor in Cazis GR on Friday afternoon, both drivers suffered moderate injuries. The driver of the car had wanted to overtake the tractor driver on a main road when the latter turned left onto a dirt track to his farm.

Due to the force of the impact, the tractor overturned and trapped the 60-year-old driver underneath, as reported by the Graubünden cantonal police on Saturday. With the help of a forklift truck, the man was freed from his predicament. The accident occurred at around 3 p.m. on the H13 in the Las Sortas area.
The tractor driver and the 29-year-old driver of the car were taken to the hospitals in Thusis and Chur by the rescue service and a helicopter respectively. Both vehicles were badly damaged. They were towed away by specialists. The road was closed to all traffic for around three hours.
According to the police, the cause of the accident is still unclear. A blood and urine sample was ordered from the tractor driver.
