Esther Weber, Co-President of the GLP City of Zurich, has announced her resignation. Weber had been in office since 2020, together with Co-President Nicolas Cavalli.

Weber will step down in October, the GLP announced on Friday. The Executive Board will begin the search for a successor. The election will take place at the general meeting in October.

No further reasons for the resignation are given in the press release. Weber was quoted as saying that she had come to the conclusion "after careful consideration" that she would make the position available.
