A man was injured in a collision between two cyclists on the Wettstein Bridge in Basel on Thursday. He was taken to hospital by the ambulance service.

The accident occurred at around 1.15 p.m., as reported by the Basel-Stadt cantonal police on Friday. According to the statement, the cyclist subsequently fell heavily and injured himself. The second cyclist involved in the accident made off without looking after the injured man. The police are looking for witnesses.
