During an altercation on Tuesday morning in the city of Lucerne, a cyclist knocked a 72-year-old pedestrian to the ground. The pensioner was injured and had to be taken to hospital. The cyclist and his companion rode off without looking after the woman.

The incident occurred at around 9 a.m. at Carl-Spitteler-Quai, as reported by Lucerne police on Tuesday. The police are looking for the two cyclists and witnesses.
