Personnel Director Werner Kübler leaves the University Hospital Basel
Werner Kübler, Director of the University Hospital Basel, is leaving in April 2025. He has been Hospital Director since 2008.

Kübler has decided to take on strategic tasks outside of the USB a few years before his retirement, the hospital announced on Thursday. The Board of Directors would like to thank Kübler today for his "outstanding achievements and many years of successful management of the USB".
Kübler was quoted in the press release as saying that numerous projects and major plans had been initiated at the USB. These include, for example, the construction of the new Clinic 3, the implementation of which should be placed in new hands that can also complete it.
According to the press release, the USB Board of Directors has commissioned an external company to search for a new hospital director. The position is to be advertised soon.
