An e-biker was seriously injured in Lohn-Ammannsegg on Monday afternoon. He collided with a car, according to the Bern cantonal police.

The accident occurred at a junction in Lohn-Ammannsegg in the municipality of Bätterkinden. The 65-year-old e-biker was seriously injured, as the police wrote in a statement on Tuesday. He had to be taken to hospital by ambulance.

The Bern cantonal police have launched an investigation to clarify the exact circumstances of the accident.
