A 47-year-old female electric cyclist suffered serious injuries in a fall on the Zugerberg on Sunday. She had to be flown by air ambulance to a hospital outside the canton.

The fall was a self-accident, according to a statement issued by the Zug law enforcement authorities on Monday. No other people were involved.
Just under half an hour later, a 45-year-old driver in the municipality of Menzingen caused another traffic accident during an overtaking maneuver. He wanted to overtake a tractor and trailer on a bend, but overlooked an oncoming car.
The oncoming car and the tractor driver tried to take evasive action, but there was still a side collision. All those involved were uninjured in the accident.
Furthermore, on Sunday afternoon in the municipality of Baar, a 44-year-old motorcyclist left the road on a bend and skidded down a slope. The rider sustained minor injuries and had to be taken to hospital.
