There was a power outage in part of the city of Zurich early on Friday morning. According to the electricity company of the city of Zurich (EWZ), the outage was resolved shortly before 7 am.

According to a fault report from Friday morning, the Altstetten/Albisrieden area was affected, as stated in the fault report on the EWZ website. The fault due to a defective cable lasted from 4.49 am to 6.58 am. Around 2,400 households were affected, as EWZ reported at the request of Keystone-SDA.
