A female driver was injured in a rear-end collision in Neuenkirch on Wednesday morning and had to be taken to hospital. The two vehicles involved were no longer drivable after the accident, with property damage amounting to around CHF 60,000.

The driver intended to turn into a road, according to Lucerne police on Wednesday afternoon. She stopped before doing so because of oncoming traffic. The following vehicle noticed this too late and crashed into the rear of the woman.
