The identity of the dead woman recovered from Lake Zug in Hünenberg ZG on July 20 remains unclear. The Zug law enforcement authorities assume that the woman was over 50 years old. She probably died between July 6 and 20.

This was the conclusion of the autopsy carried out by the Institute of Forensic Medicine in Zurich, as reported by the Zug criminal investigation authorities on Wednesday. A spokeswoman for the authorities told the Keystone-SDA news agency that the cause of death had not yet been determined. However, outside influence could be ruled out.
Private individuals discovered the lifeless woman on the shore of Lake Zug in Hünenberg on the afternoon of July 20. Despite extensive investigations, the identity of the woman remains unknown, the criminal investigation authorities announced. The Zug police are therefore asking the public for help.
According to the statement, the deceased is of light skin color. She was wearing a blue and white, partially spotted swimsuit, a long-sleeved beach top and several finger rings. Black clothes were found at the barbecue site of the kayak center, which could be matched to the deceased thanks to a DNA analysis.
