Violence Man injured in attempted robbery in Bern's Lorraine district

A 55-year-old man was attacked and injured by unknown persons on Monday night. He was taken to hospital. The Bern cantonal police later caught one of the three suspects and are looking for the other two.

They issued an appeal for witnesses on Tuesday. According to their information, the 55-year-old was on his way from the station towards the Lorraine district shortly after 1.30 a.m. on Monday. According to his statements, he was attacked after the Lorraine Bridge by a group of strangers who wanted to steal his valuables.
