A motorcyclist slipped on a road contaminated with peroxide hardener near Vicosoprano in Bergell GR on Tuesday and suffered moderate injuries to his back. The chemical had previously fallen from a road marking company's delivery van in a canister.

According to the police, an oncoming car crashed into the canister and damaged it. The chemical was spread over a length of more than ninety meters on the road. A Rega helicopter flew the injured motorcyclist to the cantonal hospital in Chur.
