A motorcyclist from Italy left the road on the Bernina Pass GR on Sunday after an overtaking maneuver. The 25-year-old fell 60 meters into a ravine-like stream bed near Lagalp and was injured.

A helicopter flew into the ravine and winched the man out of the impassable terrain, as the cantonal police reported on Monday. He was flown to the cantonal hospital in Chur.
