Cultural enterprises New co-management team for the Lysser Kulturfabrik
Barbara Glenz and Yves Chapuis will jointly manage the Lysser Kulturfabrik (Kufa) from August. The aim of the new management team is to stabilize the institution and lead it into the future. Kufa starts its new season in September.

In spring, the Kulturhaus announced that it was under financial pressure and launched a package of measures that included higher contributions from local authorities. The reasons cited included the coronavirus pandemic and price increases.
In May, the local municipality of Lyss agreed to additional funding of CHF 100,000 per year. Surrounding municipalities are also becoming more involved in the regional meeting center. However, there have also been a few rejections, such as from the municipality of Nidau.
The Kufa was managed on an interim basis by Nina Prochazka. A new management team will now take over the running of the institution from August.
Barbara Glenz is a cultural manager and was responsible for a cultural venue in Lucerne for several years, according to a press release issued by the venue on Wednesday. In recent years, she has worked as coordinator of the Swiss Artists' Exchange at the professional association Theaterschaffen Schweiz.
Yves Chapuis is a musicologist and has already worked as a sound engineer at Kufa for several years. He has been part of the management team since spring 2024.
