City festival Organizers look back on Thunfest 2024 with satisfaction
Thunfest attracted thousands of visitors at the weekend. The organizers look back on the 48th edition of the city festival with satisfaction. The digitalized ticket system with discounted advance sales was a success.

According to a statement from the organizers on Monday, around 2,000 visitors bought their tickets online in advance. The festival ran smoothly in good weather. There were slightly fewer people on Friday than on Saturday.
Exact visitor numbers cannot be ascertained, according to the organizers. However, they expect around 10,000 visitors on Friday and 13,000 on Saturday.
Concerts on various stages and various party zones provided entertainment. For younger Thunfest visitors, there was a children's theater on Waisenhausplatz, and for all those with an urge to move, there were various performances with sporting activities. The festival concluded on Sunday with an ecumenical church service on Rathausplatz.
