A 33-year-old paraglider pilot crashed from a height of around twenty meters in Luven GR on Wednesday afternoon. He suffered moderate back injuries and was flown by Rega to the cantonal hospital in Chur.

According to initial investigations, the pilot's glider collapsed shortly after 4 p.m. in the Maler area, wrote the cantonal police of Graubünden on Thursday afternoon. He then crashed roughly into a meadow.

The 33-year-old received emergency medical treatment before being rescued by a winch and flown to Chur by Rega.
